Practise

Large-scale gestural painting and spatial projects exploring the perception of time, memory and embodied experience. Working primarily with acrylic and oil stick,I balance intuitive mark-making with slower, meditative gestures, allowing each work to function as a visual register of movement, attention and duration. My practice investigates how time is felt rather than measured, exploring the tension between lived experience and society’s impulse to control or optimise it.
